To fall in love with your Soul

We all know how it feels, to meet someone and to feel the out of nowhere, almost irrational attraction to another Soul, and we think we fall in love with their Soul because we see into their deepest potential at core level, claiming we know their Soul’s inner goodness. We often create a lasting bond, built on that understanding, and we feel real pain when we are out of touch or no longer experiencing them in our lives.

But how do we fall in love with our Soul?

It is said that the hardest journey is to move out of the mind and into the heart - but I feel it is to move from the limitation of the mind that creates blocks to fully knowing our deepest goodness, into the unbound freedom of falling in love with our own Soul.

So what stops us?

We come to earth with an agreement of sorts, we sign on the dotted lines of our cosmic intelligence ready to launch into new frontiers by getting through the layers of dimensional mesh, but, when we are born here in a body, we are hit with amnesia so strong that we forget what the ‘f’ the contract was about.

Apart from a faint distant knowing, like the tune of a song that we cannot recall by trying, we move through life experiences and cycles of growth, initiations and difficulties ever penetrating deeper and pushing outwards, like roots of an eager seed, to find that solace, that river of memory, so we can finally bloom.

Astrology is the architecture of the human journey, each passage of the stars aligning with your agreement. It is a doorway, a gate opening into the next discovery of your potential, and yes, the natal chart does gives us the focused light of a torch on a dark forest, the map into the promise the soul came in with.

Passion and deepest desires of the Soul are the fuel in the fire, to keep going, to align with that yearning. What is my purpose, why am I here, what does my Soul want?

I remember very clearly being barely 5, lining up with children my age in a new school, and having this desperate sense that my body was so small so fulfil what I had landed here to be. I have always been the weird one asking the girls in the playground – ‘where were they before they were born’? and have for the most part, learned the survival skill to stay in my own bubble without sharing too much of my true knowings with my peers for years.

My ‘seeing’ was constant, writings began very early too, around six or seven, I had written many booklets (by hand) of adventure stories of a white mouse explorer, that could pass through the crack under the door and so it was free to explore places I could not reach beyond that closed door. That was my way to pass through the density and the constriction I was experiencing as a child. By sixteen, I wanted to be like everyone else, although I remained the nerdy book worm, I didn’t wish to ‘see’ as much, and managed to slow down my stream of knowings for a few years, as I chose to fit in.

The ego's journey will inspire us to stay alive, to achieve, to create safety and fulfil earthly duties but also to desire temporal experiences.

The Soul is quiet, awaiting in the background of your life until you hit the crisis/ challenge point, or the result of hard work that gifts you upliftment and evolution. The moving closer to the frequency that is your unique soul, feels like new vistas, entire new horizons and opportunities show up... often we find our selves thrusted in the middle of something strangely yet equally new.

Usually during the Saturn cycles of oppositions, squares and returns, or other important life cycles such Pluto squares, the Uranus opposition, Chiron returns – these are the passage points, by which, if you are listening to the Soul you will, without a doubt align your life with your own true purpose.

If you are feeling challenged by life, be thankful for everything. Be conscious that you are in every moment, learning something, you are remembering.

I had a friend that often told me to ‘be proud of my mistakes’, as they were the potential to breakthrough if I saw them as ‘my creation’ and this is the important part: evolution only happens with dropping the need to blame others for your life experiences. I know that for some of us we have been born to parents who didn’t have the evolutionary skill to have this inner conversation - they could be seen as a product of their time and therefore we best not look back at what they didn’t see as ‘theirs’ . The soul is not concerned with blaming someone for one's own disappointments. We can be grateful, as they did in their own way gift us with becoming the ‘measure’ so we could adjust our own triggers. We are all each other’s villain in some small or large way we are each in each other’s contract, and this is such freedom.

Understanding, rhythm and cycles and timings is everything. All of life is ebbing and flowing, including our own trajectory.

Some times we are in the flow and some of the time we must be in the ‘ebbing’ preparing for the next evolutionary cycle to reframe our work, bring the dreaming into focus and take up our place in the world.

2026 is going to be faster, more focused and action filled year, so don’t wait too long to find the colours of your voice with which to take your place in the show of your life.

To fall in love with the Soul is to listen to the deepest yearnings, is to fall in love with being alive.
